Should MBAs be involved in software planning?

No. I’ve been in precarious situations where non-technical individuals believe they know how to direct a software team’s roadmap. This is a recipe for disaster.

Also, estimates are not deadlines, and story points do not predict delivery dates. But those are topics for another day.
