你好! I’m Devan, a passionate designer & developer based in sunny Orlando.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design and Web Architecture from Troy University, which is the foundation for my 12+ years in software engineering and 6+ years in technology leadership. Currently, I serve as the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Ligonier Ministries, overseeing the teams responsible for design and development of more than 60 web, mobile, and backend systems. Previously, I was the Engineering Lead at G2i and Chief Technology Officer at Simpeo.

I have a strong history of providing high-quality software solutions and mentoring diverse teams. My commitment lies in harnessing technology to streamline operations and improve user experiences. Accessibility is particularly important to me, as my father is blind, which drives my passion for creating inclusive user interactions. I believe in the principle of 'doing the hard right, not the easy wrong,' a value I emphasize with every team I work with.

Outside of work, I enjoy a myriad of random hobbies. Anything with wings is especially interesting, as I enjoy flying airplanes and beekeeping. When not up in the sky, you'll find me brewing tea, listening to music, watching TV with my wife and cats (Pixel and Pica), studying languages (Mandarin and Spanish), or playing board games and video games (Dave the Diver is a go-to).
