16 Years as an Eagle
Each year, I’m reminded of the importance of being an Eagle Scout. Though the Boy Scouts of America is but a shell of it’s former self, I still relish the memories and friendships. Suffice to say that my leadership style and moral compass is heavily influenced by the extensive “in the classroom” and “on the job” leadership training and experiences I was afforded within the BSA.
Only 4% of all Boy Scouts earn the coveted rank. I’m pleased to be an Eagle Scout among the trove of others including fourty astronauts, four Noble Prize laureates, Presidents, CEOs, notable movie directors, and athletes.
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
